SCOPE
The work to be done in general shall consist of, but is not limited to, providing and installing: approximately 5,900 lineal feet of 12-inch and 500 lineal feet of 6 inch recycled water mains and 9 recycled water service connections and various related appurtenances along Valley Avenue from Paseo Santa Cruz to Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton including potholing operations, traffic control, providing and implementing water pollution control measures, trenching and backfill, pipeline testing and flushing, pavement restoration, landscaping restoration and other related work. The base bid project is to be completed no later than March 30, 2017, in order to be ready for street reconstruction scheduled for April 2017 on Valley Avenue from Bernal to Hopyard. The project includes a bid additive to continue the installation of the recycled water main on Valley Avenue south of Bernal Avenue to Plymouth Court; approximately 1,500 lineal feet of 12” inch recycled water main and 3 additional recycled water service connections. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the base bid project is $1.2 million with bid additive of $350,000. anelkie@cityofpleasantonca.gov
