BID DATE EXTENDED PER AD 3. This project will improve Pinnacle Peak Road, from 102nd Avenue to 99th Avenue. East of Lake Pleasant Parkway, Pinnacle Peak Road improvements consist of constructing the south half urban street improvements, including removal and installation of new pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, DG path, ADA ramps, drainage, landscaping, irrigation, street lighting, signing, pavement marking, and signal interconnect conduit. This section will terminate at 99th Avenue east of Lake Pleasant Parkway. West of Lake Pleasant Parkway, Pinnacle Peak Road, including the intersection, will be realigned to eliminate the sharp curve on the west leg and avoid right of way on the southeast corner of the intersection. Work includes new pavement structural section, vertical curb, gutter sidewalk and DG path along the south side of Pinnacle Peak Road, ADA ramps, ribbon curb along the north side of Pinnacle Peak Road, drainage, street lighting, 16-inch DIP waterline, fire hydrants, landscaping, traffic signal improvements at the intersection, pavement marking, and signing. This section will terminate on the west end approximately 275 feet west of 102nd Avenue. The south leg of 102nd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road will match the off-site and water line improvements associated with the City of Peoria Pinnacle Peak Public Safety Facility. The City is seeking a contractor to construct this project in accordance with the provided Technical Specifications prepared by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. The work also includes reconstruction of the existing Circle K Driveway on Pinnacle Peak Road west of Lake Pleasant Parkway. The City is coordinating with the property owner to obtain a temporary construction easement from the Circle K property located at 23336 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway, Peoria, Arizona 85383. The temporary construction easement is anticipated to be completed by January 2, 2017. The bidders are advised and instructed to sequence the construction activities so that work at the subject driveway on the subject property can be initiated when the temporary construction easements are obtained
