SCOPE
This Project consists of stabilization of portions of a tributary downstream of Manse Street starting at 2206 Manse Street and ending downstream at the concrete lined canal, an unnamed tributary of Smith Branch for approximately 300 linear feet. The channel is contained by stacked masonry concrete walls that appear to be comprised of reused concrete slabs that were transported to site and mortared together. The wall does not have any rebar or footings. The wall is currently failing within the first 150 linear feet downstream of Manse Street evident through sink holes, cracks, heaving and settlement. This project will construct a 60-inch RCP Class III culvert from the Manse Street culvert past the residential structure located at 2206 Manse Street and terminate the pipe culvert about 99 linear feet downstream. The remainder of the channel will consist of replacement of the stacked masonry wall with a modular block wall system. Sink holes forming behind the existing wall to remain will be filled with grout. https://columbiasc.ionwave.net/PublicDetail.aspx?bidID=1884&SourceType=1 Jeffrey.Hubbard@columbiasc.gov
