SCOPE
Package 1 involves constructing approximately 4,200 linear feet of new PVC waterlines, ranging from 4 to 12 inches in diameter, to interconnect five groundwater wells to the centralized treatment site. This package also includes the phased demolition or salvage of existing well-site structures and on-site chlorinators, while ensuring that all new pipeline configurations maintain hydraulic velocities at or below five feet per second. Package 2 focuses on the construction of the centralized treatment facility, which includes a new 6,000-square-foot steel building equipped with HVAC, lighting, and SCADA systems. The contractor will install a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) PFAS treatment system with four high-pressure vessels, a pretreatment system featuring greensand and cartridge filters, and an on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system.
