SCOPE
The City of Bellingham continues to repair and upgrade its existing wasterwater collection system via targeted projects. The EN202 project will repair or replace existing wastewater collection pipelines in two areas of Bellingham, Edgemoor and Columbia. The Edgemoor system work areas will be repaired via cured-in-place (CIP) liners given the location of the existing piping and difficulty of access. Various spot improvements are also envisioned along with an assessment and potential replacement/retrofit of up to 4 small packaged existing lift stations (82 – 311 gpm ratings). Multiple access points across private property will be required and the City will be coordinating agreements with property owners. This portion of the project consists of 2 previously identified pipeline repair phases and phase 1 has already been designed to the 60% level. Phase 2 of the Edgemoor work area will need to be designed in its entirety and is envisioned to also be largely addressed by a CIP approach. The phase areas are shown in Attachment C and an example of the current phase 1 plans is included as Attachment D. The Columbia area system will be primarily replaced piping in the same alignment/grade as the current system with selected repairs on piping and structures. No design work has been conducted on this portion of the project however the City will be providing survey data for design. https://cob.procureware.com/Bids/3dd11afe-9db8-46d0-9f0a-3f3410771a71?t=Description"
