SCOPE
1-The work in this contract is for the Sanitary Sewer Phase 9 Rehabilitation for Newport Municipal Utility District located near South Diamondhead Blvd. The purpose of this project is to improve the conditions of the 54” sanitary sewer trunk lines which feed into the District’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), to reduce inflow and infiltration into the system and improve the capacity of the plant. 2-In general, this work consists of: 1-Clearing and grubbing of a densely wooded area, as needed. The District’s Operator will be clearing and grubbing the majority of the site prior to construction; however, additional clearing and grubbing may be required by the Contractor to accommodate site access and construction equipment. 2-Temporary bypass bumping to properly rehabilitate existing sanitary sewer trunk lines and manholes. 3-Pre-cleaning and televising of 54” concrete sanitary sewer lines that are to be rehabilitated by cured-in-place pipe or repaired with mortar-based spray liner and epoxy coating system. 4-Rehabilitation of 54” concrete sanitary sewer trunk lines by repairing sewer with mortar-based spray liner and epoxy lining system or repairing sewer using the Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) installation. 5-Removal and replacement of existing sanitary sewer manhole cone and throat. 6-Removal of existing sanitary sewer manhole frame and cover and replacement with watertight frame and cover, for manhole lids of all sizes and types. 7-Rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer manholes by applying cementitious liner and epoxy coating system. 8-Installation of sanitary sewer manhole vent pipes. 9-Television inspection of sewer lines and manholes after completion of rehabilitation work. Contractor to provide Post-Television Inspection Videos and Reports. 10-Coordinating with District Operations Staff and Engineer to reduce and maintain flow from lift station into the sanitary sewer system in order for rehabilitation work to be performed. 11 -Implementation and maintenance of traffic control plan to accommodate construction access into the site. The WWTP access road must remain accessible at all times. 12-Site restoration including removal and replacement of damaged driveways, concrete patios, wooden decks, asphalt pavement, irrigation lines, turf, plants, shrubs, fences, trees, and other miscellaneous items, as required. https://www.civcastusa.com/project/68e90eed2c8ff123e9ccdc77/summary LMBoehler@LAN-inc.com
