SCOPE
Bastrop County is requesting bids for the removal of an existing low water crossing on Hall Road (Latitude 30.00836, Longitude - 97.25871) and the construction of Two (2) 8ft x 6ft cast in place box culverts that are 26ft in length. The bid will also include Four (4) 12ft long parallel wing walls at a 45-degree skew on the upstream and downstream side of Hall Road. Hall Road, an unpaved road, originates at Young Road and continues South/Southwest for approximately 1 mile. Where Hall Road crosses the tributary is a low water crossing without any sub-surface drainage structure. The low water crossing is partially lined with concrete and is inundated frequently by any significant rain event. The purpose of this project is to improve drainage and alleviate flooding at the low water crossing on Hall Road, by removing and replacing the existing crossing with a larger set of culverts capable of handling a 100-year storm event. leon.scaife@co.bastrop.tx.us
