SCOPE
Construction of two diversion channels These channels will have maintenance berms, backslope swales and interceptor structures, 1’ deep pilot channels, concrete slope paving at the outfalls to the detention basin, and concrete slope paving on the northern end to convey overflow from Oyster Creek. Construction of a north detention basin and a south detention basin connected by dual 60” RCPs. The south basin will have an overflow weir outfalling to Bullhead Bayou, and both basins will contain backslope swales systems along their boundaries. The basins will include 7’ deep channels containing a static water level that is 1’ below the top of banks. The north detention basin will outfall through dual SRPE’s within steel casing, tunneled beneath UPRR and TxDOT ROW’s, followed by dual RCBs which outfall west of the Easton Avenue bridge crossing at Bullhead Bayou.
