Mcguire Road Utility Pavement Improvements

SCOPE
The project is located at approximate address 4997 TX-146 on the east side of Texas Highway (Hwy) 146 and extends east along the full length of McGuire Road. Work shall include traffic control, tree protection, sitework, dewatering, restoration, seeding and grading, all together with all subsidiary and incidental requirements in accordance with the plans and specifications. Demolish existing 10-inch and 12-inch sanitary sewer lines and replace with 15-inch PVC, approximately 3,810 LF. In addition, furnish and install 15-inch PVC, approximately 2,650 LF, of new sanitary sewer lines by open-cut construction. Work also includes the repair of one (1) existing manhole, the removal of five (5) existing and replacement with five (5) with new manholes, and to furnish and install seven (7) new manholes, each concrete, 4-foot diameter, and approximately 8.5 feet deep. All sanitary sewer work includes labor, materials, equipment for construction, bypass pumps, connections to existing and new manholes, and service reconnection. Cut, plug, and abandon the existing 6-inch waterline and replace with new 12-inch PVC, approximately 4,920 LF by open cut, 600 LF by trenchless, and 200 LF of trenchless with 18-inch steel casing. Work also includes the furnishing and installation of two (2) new fire hydrants. All waterline work includes labor, materials, equipment for construction, connection to existing and new fire hydrants, service reconnections, testing and disinfection. Demolish existing McGuire Road pavement including base material, approximately 20-feet wide and 6,000-feet long, which shall be repurposed as the new pavement aggregate material for the new road. The new pavement base is 22-feet wide, 10-inch thick stabilized base, and re-paved with 20-foot wide hot mix asphalt.
