SCOPE
1-Temporary bypass pumping for lift station rehabilitation to provide continuous sewer service during rehabilitation. 2-Installation of 16-inch and 18-inch AWWA C-900 PVC and 20-inch HDPE sanitary sewer force main, by trenchless construction, for all depths, including restrained joints, bends, fittings, plug valves with above ground boxes, check valves with below ground vaults, quick disconnect assembly as shown in the plans, and wet connections to existing force main. Hydrostatic testing shall be completed by the contractor. 3-Remove and replace a combination air release and vacuum relief valve in an existing combination air/vacuum manhole, including all fittings. 4-Installation of a new manhole with a new 16-inch flow meter for sanitary sewer applications and installation of a new manhole with a new combination air release and vacuum relief valve. 5-Remove and replace existing pumps with new submersible pumps and all associated items, including existing pump guide rails, stainless steel hoist cables, pump stand, and all other appurtenances . 6-Removal of existing discharge piping and all associated items including, 8-inch riser piping, 16-inch discharge piping, valves, pipe supports, couplings, u-brackets, pipe collars, fittings, drain pipe and flap valve, and all other appurtenances. Riser piping and discharge piping includes all metal piping (stainless steel and ductile iron piping) from the existing pumps to the second bend outside of the valve vault. 7-Installation of discharge piping and all associated items including, 10-inch stainless steel riser piping, 16-inch ductile iron piping, check valves, plug valves, combination air release and vacuum relief valves, pipe supports, couplings, joints, u-brackets, fittings, drain pipe and flap valve, and all associated appurtenances. Discharge piping includes all piping from the new pumps to the new PVC force main piping outside of the valve vault. 8-Miscellaneous lift station site improvements including, installation of metal handrails on the concrete electrical platform, installation of a concrete pad, and removal and replacement of wet well and valve vault access hatches with access hatches that include metal safety grates, including all associated appurtenances, as shown on the plans. 9-Surface preparation of wet well interior and valve vault interior for the application of cementitious liner, including cleaning, removal and disposal of sediment, grit, sludge, existing epoxy or protective coating lining, and unsound concrete. Repair wet well interior with a cementitious material for extremely harsh environments to a minimum thickness of 1-inch. And reline wet well interior with an engineer approved epoxy coating including surface preparation. 10-Site restoration including replacement of damaged turf, plants, shrubs, trees, fences, irrigation lines, or other miscellaneous items. 11-Electrical Items – Disconnect all signal and control wiring serving existing pumps, remove and replace motor circuit protection devices, starters, and cabling, reconnect all signal and control wiring for newly installed pumps, and replace damaged equipment as required. https://www.civcastusa.com/project/661983cc4ff98efc8cd50aa7/summary aabustios@lan-inc.com
