SCOPE
The City of Frisco aims to create a high-class park and destination for Frisco residents and the region. The park is an opportunity to preserve and restore ecosystems, create high visibility destinations, develop a high-quality bike and pedestrian trail system, and implement diverse community programming in a rapidly developing portion of Frisco. Enhancing and restoring site features such as remnant Blackland prairies and miles of volunteer-built mountain biking trails are central to the success of the park. A robust new system of trails and a range of recreational and educational programming will make the park vital with immersive features for the Frisco Community. Northwest Community Park is a 120-acre existing property in Frisco, Texas, as indicated on the Vicinity Map. The primary improvements consist of paving, a welcome pavilion, a children's pavilion, a prairie overlook pavilion, shade structure, bike park, lighting, playground, water play feature, signage, landscape plantings, and irrigation system. https://friscotexas.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/148184
