SCOPE
It is the City’s intent to solicit Contractor services to perform complete seal coating and repair of the Vernon McCullough River Trail’s pavement that will help enhance the public space for walking, bicycling, and general recreation. The cross-City trail system allows residents to have access to a desirable, no-cost wellness amenity encouraging active recreation in the form of a walking and bicycle lane. The Vernon McCullough River Trail runs parallel to the Fresno River beginning at Tulare Street and terminating just west of Caitlan Drive. It measures approximately 17,000 linear feet and total approximate surface area of 204,211 square feet. The specific project will include crack fill, pothole repair, and a seal coat on the existing asphalt trail surface.
