SCOPE
The Tarrant Regional Water District (Owner) is requesting Proposals for the construction of the following Project: Integrated Pipeline Project – Lake Palestine Lake Pump Station and Intake - Package 1 – Substructure and Intake Channel (LP1IN) IPL-CSP-23-065 Description of Work A. Work is to build Package 1 (of 2) of a 250-mgd lake pump station on the shore of Lake Palestine. The Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Intake channel in Lake Palestine with approximately 130,000 cubic yards of excavation including wet and dry portions, dredging including rock removal, temporary turbidity curtain, dewatering of dredged material, spreading or disposal of dredged material, control of water and dewatering, warning buoys, and rock rip rap. Rock removal pretreatment may include heavy-pointed weights dropped onto the rock surface, hydraulic hammers, or controlled blasting. 2. Wet well and wing wall construction including approximately 60,000 cubic yards of excavation and 8,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete. 3. Bulkhead gates and solid blank panels for five future intake pumps. 4. Concrete drilled shafts (piers) up to 42-in. diameter in soil and rock approximately 3,500 vlf. 5. Five each 9 ½-ft-diameter drilled shafts with permanent steel can liners grouted in place for future pump intake liners. 6. Care of water. 7. Various site, civil, perimeter security and roadway improvements. 8.
