SCOPE
The Project consists, in general, of tidal marsh habitat restoration and public access improvements on approximately 114 acres of City of Eureka owned property located north and south of Elk River bound by Pound Road, Highway 101, Tooby Road and Humboldt Bay. The work generally includes vegetation clearing, grubbing, invasive plant species removal, soil excavation, transport, placement, and grading of excavated materials on a marsh plain to construct estuary tidal channels, shallow wetlands, habitat fills, and upland berms.
