SCOPE
A. This project consists of flood protection improvements at the water treatment plant, including, but not limited to: 1. Structural modifications at Lawson Pump Station Forebay 2. Construction of Collier’s Ferry Pump Station, including: a. Site Work - fill and grading, clearing and grubbing, fencing, gravel, and asphalt access road b. Structural - wet well, Electrical Building, concrete slabs, and concrete pipe supports c. Process Mechanical - four submersible pumps, associated piping, valves, and fittings, wet well hatches, sluice gates, NPW piping, yard piping, flow meter, and pipe supports d. Electrical - 1500kW generator, transfer switch, variable frequency drives, lightning protection, instrumentation, and lighting e. HVAC – four wall pack HVAC units at the Electrical Building 3. Microtunneling a. Approximately 2,500 linear feet of 48-inch diameter pipeline constructed by microtunneling extending between the Lawson Pump Station Forebay and the wet well of the Collier’s Ferry Pump Station, in two separate drives. This includes construction of two manholes, one at the Lawson Pump Station site and one at approximately the midpoint of the pipeline alignment, and piping installed by traditional open cut methods as necessary. john.pippins@beaumonttexas.gov
