Bagdad Airport Road Realignment

SCOPE
The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required to realign 1,400 feet of Bagdad Airport Road near Bagdad, Arizona; all in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Contractor is expected to perform 9,420 cubic yards of roadway excavation, in which 3,410 cubic yards of cut-to-fill and 6,010 cubic yards of exports. Contractor shall also pulverize and blend 4,450 square yards of existing pavement structure up to a depth of 16.5”; the generated FDR material may be temporarily stockpiled on-site and reused in project to construct 10” base following proposed alignment. The realigned roadway will also receive 1,690 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement with ¾” high traffic mix and PG 70-10 binder at a thickness of 6.5”. Other associated work includes clearing and grubbing one acre, grading and compacting 948 square yards of native road, installation of 140 linear feet of drainage ditch, development and implementation of SWPPP, and installation of flexible delineators, signage, striping, and markings.
