INVITATION TO BIDDERS - Pre-Bid Meeting and Bid Opening Dates revised as shown below through Addendum No. 1 Sealed bids, in duplicate, addressed to Ross Dress for Less, Inc., will be received in the office of Ward, Getz & Associates, PLLC; 2500 Tanglewilde, Suite 120; Houston, Texas, 77063 (phone 713-789-1900) until 10:00 AM on Wednesday January 26th, 2022 at which time all bids will be opened and publicly read for the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary or incidental to PAVING AND DRAINAGE TO SERVE WOODS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PHASE II, on behalf of Waller County Road Improvement District No. 1. Online bids will also be received on CivCast until the bid opening time, under the following project number: 00151-001-05b. Scope of Project: Site Preparation; Approximately 3,700 LF of 24-inch through 60-inch storm sewer and all appurtenances; Approximately 1,300 LF of 6’ x 5’ Reinforced Concrete Box culvert and all appurtenances including storm sewer bends; Approximately 28,800 SY of 11.5-inch reinforced concrete pavement; Approximately 35,000 SY of 8-inch subgrade preparation; Approximately 19,000 LF of 6” reinforced concrete curb; Approximately 1,000 SY of 8.5” Asphalt; Storm Water Pollution Prevention Control. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A MANDATORY pre-bid video conference will be held in the office of Ward, Getz & Associates, PLLC, on 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid video conference is MANDATORY and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid video conference. A cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid.
