SCOPE
This project's goal is to capture storm flows near the hills located southwesterly of Lake Elsinore and convey them safely through an underground storm drain system within existing streets to the Lake Elsinore outlet at the northerly end of Maiden Lane. The project consists of 7,177 ft of underground storm drain facility Lakeland Village Line H, its associated laterals Line H-1 and Line H-2 and their associated appurtenant structures such as manholes, catch basins, and connector pipes. Construction will also consist of an energy dissipation outlet structure, three flow collection areas including grading, riprap placement and concrete headwall construction. A sediment/debris basin will also be constructed to benefit Lake Elsinore's water quality. The project also includes street rehabilitation for the portions of the streets that will be affected by the construction of the storm drain as well as the conversion of the existing unpaved portion of Maiden Lane between Cottrell Boulevard and the sediment basin to an asphalt road with rolled gutter. The District will design and construct the facility to eliminate approximately 40 acres of floodplain affecting residential and commercial properties and various streets within the Lakeland Village community. mverdoor@rivco.org https://www.ebidboard.com/public/projects/showproject.asp?mbrguid={0A309E29-C034-46D3-B437-3A128D022A0B}&projectguid={F4C52818-BAF9-4B85-8E57-E97050C92BFD}
