Sealed bids, in duplicate, addressed to Bridgeland Development, LP on behalf of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 493 will be received in the office of BGE, Inc., 10777 Westheimer Road, Suite 400, Houston, Texas 77042 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at which time all bids will be opened and publicly read for the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary or incidental to the “North Bridgeland Lake Parkway Sec 6 Street Dedication Water Distribution System, Sanitary Collection System, Non-Potable Water Distribution System, Storm Drainage System, and Street Paving & North Bridgeland Lake Parkway Interim Detention Proposed Detention Ponds, Excavation and Spoil Disposal, and Storm Drainage System.” Scope of Project: 7,400 LF of 16-inch waterline and all appurtenances; 7,900 LF of 8-inch thru 12-inch non-potable waterline and all appurtenances; 1,760 LF of 12-inch sanitary force-main and all appurtenances; 5,200 LF of 27-inch thru 30-inch sanitary sewer and all appurtenances; 6,600 LF of 24-inch thru 6-foot by 4-foot storm sewer and all appurtenances; 47,200 SY of 6-inch and 8-inch subgrade preparation; 46,500 SY of 10-inch reinforced concrete pavement; 29,885 LF of 6-inch reinforced concrete curb; 84 Acres of light clearing and grubbing; 2 Acres of heaving clearing and grubbing; 162,000 CY of excavation and onsite disposal; 600 LF of 24-inch RCP; and 1,025 LF of 42-inch RCP A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in the office of BGE, Inc., 10777 Westheimer Road, Suite 400, Houston, Texas 77042 at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond, a payment bond, and a maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract.
