SCOPE
The Project area is located in the elevated midland areas of the Community. The Project encompasses designing and eventually constructing flood control and drainage infrastructure. Time is of the essence as the Village of Komatke repeatedly experience flooding. Immediate mitigation is needed. • Inline and (or) offline retention or detention basin systems; • Levees, piping and channeling; • Spillways at basin outfall locations; • Sediment basins, traps, or other means to address sediment controls.; • Cut off walls and other energy dissipation measures to prevent head-cut. This includes use of the existing riprap resources located south of Pecos Rd; • Utility relocation dependent on 60% designs; • Landscape amenities to address beautification; • Ecosystem restoration, water harvesting if feasible with environmentally sensitive infrastructure; • Waterline vertical realignment; • Sewer force main vertical realignment; • Utility pothole and verification prior to construction; • Detention/Retention Basin excavation • Concrete pipe and/or box culverts construction • Inlet/outlet headwalls, • Riprap and erosion protection, • Roadway paving construction • Infrastructure designed for minimal future maintenance, and • Other appurtenances necessary to mitigate flooding to existing developed located in the areas of Komatke ruben.calderon@gric.nsn.us
