AGENCY
Redding
ESTIMATE
$843,000
SCOPE
The project includes upgrade of the City’s wastewater lift station located at 207 Locust Street and replacement of its force main. The new force main will be re-routed to discharge into an existing sewer manhole in Locust Street on west side of the Anderson Cottonwood Irrigation District (ACID) canal. Over 800 linear feet of new 8-inch HDPE force main piping and attachment of 8-inch ductile iron pipe to the City owned Locust Street bridge over the ACID canal will be required for the new force main installation. In general, upgrades to the lift station will include installation of a new wet well and packaged lift station, as well as a new flow meter and bypass vault. Other improvements will include gravity sewer piping to the new wet well, modifications to existing manholes, rehabilitation of existing manholes, cast-in-place concrete pads, landscaping and irrigation, and relocation of an existing business sign. The existing force main, existing wet well, and below grade dry well will be demolished and abandoned in place upon completion and testing of the new packaged lift station. A pre-project meeting is scheduled for Feb 3, 2021 - 11:00 am https://ciplist.com/plan/?Redding/city/13032/plan/3795
