SCOPE
The City of Las Vegas (Owner) hereby invites qualified firms or individuals (Bidders) to submit Bids for installation of approximately 9,200 feet of 21-inch sewer in Vegas Drive; new manholes in 60-inch diameter and 72-inch diameter sizes; removal of existing 15 and 18-inch VCP sewer and associated existing manholes. In addition, installation of approximately 2,700 feet of 24-inch sewer in Tenaya Way; new precast polymer manholes in 48-inch diameter, 60-inch diameter and 72-inch diameter sizes and a 120-inch precast polymer diversion manhole. The pipeline will be constructed using open-cut methods, except for the US 95 crossing. Construction includes reconnection of existing sewers and service laterals; bypass pumping and piping system; traffic control; street reconstruction; and all other appurtenant work. The project also includes the rehabilitation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of existing 15-inch truss pipe with Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) method via an upstream or downstream inversion and three (3) 18-inch sectional CIPP liners in one ten (10) foot location. In addition, the project includes application of an epoxy coating system in 17 manholes varying in diameter from 48-60 inches. The project also includes development of a temporary bypass pumping of sewage during construction, cleaning, and CCTV of pipelines. The Contractor shall be responsible for the design of bypass pumping and piping system, temporary control and handling of sewage, maintaining public health, control of odor, noise, and all other appurtenant work. skessler@lasvegasnevada.gov
