SCOPE
The base bid project consists of construction and tie-in of a 24” irrigation transmission line of 624 linear feet of pipe, construction of a river aerial crossing consisting of structural concrete, 30” drilled shaft foundation, and prefabricated steel truss, stabilization of the Jemez River bank at the aerial crossing, construction of a winged headwall, and demolition of the existing 24” line of 624 linear feet, existing winged headwall, existing aerial crossing pile, and existing substructure concrete. The project is located 2.5 miles northwest of the Pueblo of Zia proper in Zia Pueblo, New Mexico. The irrigation transmission line begins at the same location of the outlet distribution box at the Zia Lake impoundment. The line proceed to the southwest, aerially crosses the Jemez River and ends at the same location of a concrete headwall downstream. Additive Alternate 1 consists of the construction of an additional 24” ductile iron irrigation transmission line of 1,594 linear feet of pipe and demolition of the existing 24” line of 1,594 linear feet.
