SCOPE
Dual southbound and eastbound left turn lanes. • Full five (5) lane street section between Corporate Drive and Garfield Street. • Portland cement concrete pavement for 250 feet (+/-) south of Garfield Street. • Two (2) new northbound lanes between Van Buren Street and Corporate Drive • Raised median (no landscaping) for approximately 400 feet • New driveways to the Henderson Property and the industrial complex Pre • New private fencing along the Henderson’s west property line. The new fence shall match the existing fence in materials and style, if possible • Street lighting and conduits, pavement markings and signage. Existing street lights along west side of Fairway Drive, north of Corporate Drive will remain in place. • Private irrigation channel reconstruction along the north property line of the Henderson property. The open channel parallel to Fairway Drive, between Corporate Drive and Garfield Street, is in its final location and no improvements are anticipated to this channel. • Catch basin, scuppers and storm drain piping. • Landscaping along west side of Fairway Drive, north of Corporate Drive. • Removal of existing Fairway Drive pavement/ABC between Corporate Drive and Garfield Street. • Completion of the Fairway Drive cul-de-sac (ABC and pavement only) at the north end of Fairway Drive. • Communication conduits from Van Buren Street to the north cul-de-sac. Traffic control. There are very heavy traffic volumes during Legacy School’s student pickup and delivery times. Construction activities shall impact this traffic as little as possible. • No new traffic signals or signal pole relocations will be constructed with this project. • Contractor will prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan tcopp@avondaleaz.gov
