SCOPE
Construction of the City of Berkeley owned Berkeley Tuolumne Camp on a 30-acre site owned by the United States Forest Service in Stanislaus National Forest, Tuolumne County, California. The existing Camp was destroyed by the Rim Fire in 2013. Existing structures to remain include 1 restroom building and 16 tent cabins. New construction includes 66 tent cabins, dining hall, recreation hall, 4 restroom buildings, 16 staff cabins, amphitheater, first aid station, administrative office with store, Kiddie Kamp, nature center, camp manager cabin, shade structures, pedestrian bridge over south Fork of the Tuolumne River, 5 creek bridges, sports court, site retaining walls, pedestrian paths, driveways and parking lots, 2 propane tanks, 2 water tanks, 2 power utility service entry points, generator, waste water treatment system including tanks, pumps and leach field, potable water treatment system including pumps and package water treatment plant; and distribution lines for power, telecom, wastewater, domestic water, fire water and propane.
