SCOPE
The Project mainly funded from California Proposition 84 is more specifically defined in the plans and specifications, but generally includes the following work to be done: Base Bid: RECYCLED WATER TRANSMISSION PIPELINES: The base bid includes approximately 9,670 linear feet of 24-inch diameter recycled water pipeline starting near the intersection of Lammers Road and Grant Line Road and ending south of the Intersection of Lammers Road and 11th Street. This portion of the Project is more specifically defined in the Plans and Specifications, but also includes: dewatering of pipe trenches; two (2) bore and jack pipe installations; one (1) open cut casing installation, two (2) stubs for future connection, pipeline appurtenances; cathodic protection; pavement grinding, overlay, and microsurfacing slurry seal. The project includes a pipeline turnout, including a cut in tee, butterfly valves, and blow off. Bid Alternate 1: RECYCLED WATER TRANSMISSION PIPELINES: The bid alternate includes the installation of approximately 2,698 linear feet of 24-inch diameter recycled water pipeline which includes the extension of the base bid pipeline for 2,548 linear feet south along Lammers Road and 150 linear feet west from the intersection of Lammers Road and Capital Park Drive. This portion of the Project is more specifically defined in the Plans and Specifications, but also includes: dewatering of pipe trenches; pipeline appurtenances; cathodic protection; pavement grinding, overlay, and microsurfacing slurry seal.
