SCOPE
This project consists of converting the irrigation water source at Cypress Park, Jack Hardie Park, and the ASU Campus from potable water to reclaimed water. This will involve disconnecting the landscape irrigation connections at the parks and ASU campus irrigation systems from potable water service and reconnecting them to reclaimed water lines. In addition, signage will be installed at these three locations to alert the public of the reclaimed water supply. The project also consists of the installation of approximately 4,150 linear feet of 6-inch DR 18 PVC from the Island Wastewater Treatment Plant to London Bridge Beach Park, approximately 290 linear feet of 8-inch DR 18 PVC from Oak Drive to Cypress Park, approximately 240 linear feet of 6-inch DR 18 PVC from Smoketree Avenue to the Rotary Park Reservoir and Pump Station. The project also includes installation and system integration of a new motorized valve in valve vault at Oak Drive south of the existing reclaimed water connection, modifications to the Effluent Pump Lift Station at the Mulberry Wastewater Treatment Plant, and a new 350,000 gallon reservoir with above grade reuse booster pump station at Rotary Park with associated grading and minor site work, and modifications to an 18-inch below grade butterfly valve on Smoketree Ave at Rotary Park. purchasing@lhcaz.gov
