BID DATE
11/19/13 - 4:00
AGENCY
Pima County
ESTIMATE
$1,300,000
SCOPE
Pima County’s analysis of the Pantano Interceptor has determined that an existing section of twelve inch sewer line needs to be replaced with a larger diameter line to provide for future capacity needs. This project includes the installation of approximately 1,736 feet of 18-inch sewer pipe, and approximately 1,000 feet of 18-inch steel sewer pipe supported on steel piles spaced at 30 foot centers over a wash. 6 new manholes are required, 2 of these will be on piles through the Pantano Wash. The existing 12-inch sewer is to be abandoned in place. Flow management and traffic control will be necessary, as will a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). A sample (SWPPP) has been included in these bid documents for the Contractor’s review and use if they desire to adopt it for this project as-is.
