SCOPE
This Project is located in Mammoth Lakes on State Route 203 from Mountain Boulevard to Laurel Mountain Road, specifically from the Mountain Boulevard to Sierra Boulevard (north side), from 3330 Main Street to Forest Trail (north side), and from Manzanita Street to Laurel Mountain Road (south side). The project improvements include construction of a sidewalk, reconstruction or construction of ADA-complaint ramps, construction of a retaining wall from Mountain Boulevard to Sierra Boulevard (north side), installation of a pedestrian activated signal (HAWK) at 3330 Main Street, the construction of three bus shelters and turnouts, and the installation of safety lighting and drainage improvements. The engineers estimate for this project is $3,500,000. The work includes full compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. The work shall be completed within the time set forth in the Contract. This Project is federally-funded. The project is funded under the 2017 FSTIP as the “Lower Main Street Sidewalk Project” for $2,610,000 and SHOPP funds for $1,250,000, including costs for construction only.
