Relocate Cocopah 6 inch Force Main

SCOPE
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Yuma Area Office has a requirement to install approximately 13,500 L.F. of 6” sewer line and making connections at both ends to the existing force main. Pipe sleeves will be required at road crossings. Two new 60” steel sleeves will also be installed for a future line. The abandoned line will be flushed, chlorinated and then capped. All work shall be completed within 180 days. The work is located near Yuma County, Arizona Avenue C from County 16th Street to 19th Street. A. Realign the Cocopah 6” force main by installing new 6” C900 pipe. B. Connect the new line at both ends to the existing line. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating the tie-in of the new sewer force main to the lift station and to the sewage lagoons with Edward Domingues, Public Works Director for Cocopah Tribe. C. Flush the line to be abandoned with chlorinated water and cap at both ends. D. Return the finished grades to match existing adjacent grades.
