BID DATE

AGENCY
Marin County
ESTIMATE
$185,000
SCOPE
This project involves stabilizing bank erosion and a head cut that has formed along an unnamed drainage area that flows into Stafford Lake. The project area is approximately 0.4 acres. The channel bed slope will be re-graded to create a series of four step pools along the designated creek length, separated by rock armored channels. The additional stabilization work includes, but is not limited to excavation to subgrade and placement of rock, excavating bank material and reusing downstream, excavating and placing rock for slope protection, using fabric reinforced earth fill and coir rolls, and erosion control measures like erosion control blankets and mats and/or seeding. Additional site improvement work includes installation of a trail bridge. This involves construction of cast in place concrete abutments and procurement and installation of a 6’ wide x 23’ long prefabricated bridge with redwood decking and 54” railings.
