SCOPE
The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for full-depth milling and removal of the existing asphaltic concrete (AC) for the entire width of Lower Red Rock Loop Road, then placing a 2.5” AC overlay. Finish pavement surface grades will see an elevation decrease of approximately ½” for the majority of this project. This project is approximately 3.2 miles long and extends from the existing cattle guard at SR 89A at the northwest end, to the existing end of pavement at the southeast end (approx. 1,100 feet beyond the entrance to Red Rock State Park). Pavement matching will include side streets and paved driveways. Shoulder build-up and grading will also be required, as well as paint striping and marking. Total AC for this project is estimated to be approximately 9,267 tons.
