JOB
(CMAR) Price Rd Utility Relocations
BID DATE
09/3/17 - 8:00
AGENCY
Chandler
ESTIMATE
$1,500,000
SCOPE
This project is to relocate wet utilities owned by the City of Chandler (City) in Price Road from Spectrum Drive to Willis Road and on Willis Road from Price Road west to the City Limits. The utility relocations are necessary to support the installation of multiple underground electrical duct banks to be designed and built by Salt River Project (SRP). The wet utilities currently identified to be relocated include existing 12-inch diameter gravity sewer pipelines, 5-foot diameter sewer manholes, 12-inch diameter reclaimed water pipelines and 12-inch diameter potable water pipelines. The 12-inch diameter gravity sewer is expected to be re-routed and discharge into an existing 66-inch gravity sewer manhole. In Price Road, an existing 16-inch force main is anticipated to be abandoned in place. Other modifications to the existing reclaimed water system and potable water system to facilitate current customers and future development may be included. The wet utilities placed out of service as part of this project will be abandoned-in-place. Minor roadway improvements impacted by wet and dry utility relocation may be included in the scope.
