SCOPE
The Danville Various Streets & Roads Preservation Project (CIP C-584) will utilize federal funds from the OneBayArea Grant (OBAG), a federal grant program. The work locations include Sycamore Valley Road from Camino Ramon to San Ramon Valley Boulevard, including the bus loop within the adjoining Park & Ride Lot, and El Cerro Boulevard from El Pintado Road to La Gonda Way, in Danville, California. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) curb, sidewalk, and curb ramp; subdrain installation; removal of asphalt concrete pavement within Park & Ride bus loop, and replacement with PCC pavement; removal and replacement of existing asphalt concrete pavement (dig-outs); pavement cold planing; installation of paving mat; installation of a combination of asphalt concrete overlay and inlay; removal and replacement of traffic signal pedestrian push buttons and loop detectors; removal and replacement or adjustment to grade of the following utility castings and lids: gas valves, sanitary sewer manholes, signal interconnect boxes, Sprint fiber optic manholes, street light boxes, storm drain manholes and cleanout boxes, survey monument coverings, telephone boxes, traffic signal detector hand hole lids, water meter and valve coverings, and other utility features; removal and replacement of existing pavement striping and markers, and traffic control.
