JOB
Sewer Main Lining Various Locations 2017
BID DATE
06/29/17 - 2:15
AGENCY
Victorville
ESTIMATE
$4,000,000
SCOPE
This project consists of approximately 20,000 LF of sewer lining for the purpose of rehabilitating the existing main. The project will eliminate groundwater infiltration into the city’s sewer system. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is a sewer lining process that extends the useful life of sewer lines by installing a resin-impregnated tube into a deteriorated sewer. This process results in a seamless, jointless surface that adds strength to the pipe and significantly extends its usable life. Based on information received from a recent CCTV survey of the Victorville sewer system, it was determined that a number of sewer line segments throughout the city needed to be lined. The current project, which consists of approximately 20,000 of sewer (located throughout the city), is the first of a number of sewer lining projects that the city will be doing in the coming years.
