SCOPE
ORG BID RESULTS MNR Construction - $8,618,910 Blois Construction - $9,998,600 The work consists of providing labor, equipment, material, tools, safety and traffic control for the construction of a new duplex sliderail submersible sewer lift station with 52 HP, 1500 gpm, 1170 RPM non-clog pumps; an identical spare pump to be delivered to the City Yard; 14 ft wide, 35 ft long, and 29 ft deep reinforced concrete, T-Lock lined wet well; an 18 ft long. 12 ft wide, and 11 ft deep reinforced concrete valve vault; removal of 960 LF of existing 18-inch and construction of 21-inch VCP sewer; construction of approximately 775 LF of 8-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch PVC and VCP sewers; 1250 LF of 8-inch and 2755 LF of 12-inch diameter ductile iron forcemains; jacking and boring 238 LF of 28 diameter, minimum ½ inch thick steel casing under the I-10 Freeway and the Metrolink Railroad with 12 diameter DR 14 PVC carrier pipe; CIPP lining of an existing 8-inch pipe under the I-10 Freeway and the Metrolink Railroad; relocation of existing water, and electric utilities; bypass pumping and maintaining sewer flows throughout the construction; 200 KW, 240 V, 3 phase standby emergency generator; conduits, wires, power service, MCC, and pump control panel; radio telemetry; demolition of a portion of the existing lift station; conversion of its wet well to an emergency storage facility, and all appurtenant work.
