SCOPE
The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for full reconstruction of Copper Basin Road near Prescott, Arizona; a full-depth reclamation (FDR) of Saddle Horn Road near the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona; and a mill and fill of Long Canyon Road with minor reconstruction areas near Sedona, Arizona; all in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents. The combined project length is about 2.27 miles of roadway reclamation. Major project work includes approximately: 7,800 tons of asphaltic concrete placed, 20,000 square yards of pavement removal by milling and haul, 3,000 cubic yards of roadway excavation, 2,500 square yards of remove and replace sections with geogrid, 17,000 square yards of pulverized in-situ materials (eight inches deep), and placement of 586 cubic yards of new aggregate base material. Other associated work includes: shoulder build-up and grading, installation of approximately 175 feet of new guardrail, drainage improvements, driveway, side road and mainline matches, various frame adjustments and restoration of roadway striping and markings.
