SCOPE
CHANGED TO REAL-TIME. The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contracting firm to perform the following Scope of Work: construction of concrete multi-use path connections from the existing canal paths to the signalized intersection crossing at 22nd Street and Thomas Road, widening of the pedestrian sidewalk along the south side of Thomas Road, installation of four decorative pavement node areas, asphalt pavement replacement, an upgraded traffic signal at the roadway intersection, relocation of a drainage catch basin, ADA ramp improvements, removal and replacement of existing concrete driveways, placement of a new decorative pilaster and steel gate and associated landscaping and irrigation improvements. This is a Federal-aid project. The prevailing basic hourly wage rates and fringe benefit payments, as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, shall be the minimum wages paid to the described classes of laborers and mechanics employed, or working on the site, to perform the contract. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal of 4.42% has been established for this project. This project will utilize federal funds and is subject to the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 and the U.S. Department of Transportation DBE Program.
