SCOPE
The work comprises installation of approximately 950 linear feet of 15-inch diameter PVC sewer gravity main along C Street and D Street in Future TR 36484 and approximately 2,600 linear feet of 15-inch and 18-inch diameter VCP gravity main in Goetz Road. In addition, the work also comprises installation of approximately 17 each of 4 diameter PVC sewer laterals (5-feet capped/plugged stub only; from wye at Trunk) on TR 36484, and 10 each sewer manholes, excavation, backfill and compaction, pavement removal, disposal of materials, street restoration, traffic control, and other work detailed in the project drawings and specifications. The work comprises installation of approximately 9,100 linear feet of 8-inch, 10-inch and 15- inch diameter PVC sewer gravity main along Vista Way, Casa Bonita Drive, Platino Drive, Datil Drive, Goetz Road, District easements at private properties and Fire Station easements. Approximately 200 linear feet of 15-inch diameter PVC sewer gravity main in the District’s easement at the private properties shall be installed using trenchless technology. The work also comprises installation of approximately 457 linear feet of 15-inch VCP gravity main in Vista Way and Fire Station easement and approximately 225 linear feet of 12-inch diameter PVC water main relocation in the Fire Station easement, including removal of the existing 12-inch CML&C water line. In addition, the work also comprises installation of approximately 208 each of 4 diameter PVC sewer laterals (from sewer main to property line), 40 each sewer manholes, excavation, backfill and compaction, pavement removal, disposal, street restoration, and other work detailed in the project drawings and specifications. The work comprises all on-site work in approximate 149 individual residential lots including installation of 4 diameter PVC sewer service line (from property line to house), backwater valves to select lots, and cleanouts to all lots, connect to sewer plumbing pipe and testing. Abandonment work includes locating the septic tank(s) at each of the residential lot including the ones where the location of the septic tank is not identified in the contract documents, removal and appropriate disposal of residual liquid, solids and sludge from septic tank, removal of the roof of the septic tank, perforation of the remaining septic tank bottom, backfill with appropriate sandy material and compact to an acceptable relative compaction, repair and restoration of necessary pavement, landscaping, hardscaping, block wall, on-site utilities or facilities, and other improvements which are damaged by CONTRACTOR during construction. : sivapalt@emwd.org & lloydj@emwd.org
