SCOPE
CMAR SELECTION 1/27. Firms Submitted: Haydon, JE Dunn, and Valley Rain Demolition and removal of the existing Orange Street road section, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, planted areas including trees, shrubs and groundcover, streetlights and electrical lines, site furniture and signage. Salvage of materials as directed by ASU. ï‚· Protection of utility lines, underground vaults, above ground utility equipment to remain and relocation of others as required. ï‚· Protection of adjacent existing buildings, structures, equipment and landscape to remain. ï‚· Construction of a new utility tunnel access hatch and tunnel ventilation duct, installation of tunnel moisture protection as required. ï‚· Relocation and/or installation of underground storm drains, inlet structures and connection to existing storm drainage system at the MU Dock area. ï‚· Grading and sub-grade preparation. ï‚· Construction of a new fire lane, grade transitions to the existing central plant driveway, Orange Street, MU loading dock driveway. ï‚· Construction of new sidewalks and hardscape areas. ï‚· Construction and/or installation of trench drains, covers, inlet and outlet headwalls ï‚· Installation of traffic control bollards. ï‚· Construction of new linear bio-swales, tree pits and planting beds ï‚· Installation of trees, date palms, shrubs, groundcovers and a new irrigation system. ï‚· Installation of pedestrian/roadway pole lights, festoon lighting, palm lighting, convenience and event power outlets, modification and/or installation of electric lines, service panel and lighting controls. ï‚· Installation of site amenities including freestanding tables and chairs, benches, trash receptacles, bicycle racks, skateboard racks, signage, emergency call-box. ï‚· Provision of temporary traffic control and pedestrian access during construction. ï‚· Coordination with the Student Pavilion project as well as all other adjacent projects. ï‚· Coordination with ASU Capital Programs Management Group (CPMG), other ASU departments including, but not limited to Central Plant, FACMAN, Memorial Union, University Technology Office.
